To change the settings of a team or organization, go to Settings > Team > Team settings. Note: You need at least “Owner” or “Admin” permissions.
Name. The name of your team or organization. You can choose any name without restrictions. We recommend a short one or two-word name, like “Smith Lab” or “ACME”.
Logo. The logo identifies your team or organization in various places in Paperpile, for example when sharing a library with your team. You can upload files in most common image formats. We recommend a minimum size of 200x200px.
Custom URL. If enabled Paperpile will show a branded sign up page with your team’s or organization’s name and logo. You can choose a short version of your team name for this URL unless it’s already taken.

The short name for the URL has a minimum length of six characters, and can only contain lowercase Latin alphabet characters without special characters. Enterprise and site subscriptions can have shorter names. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Users can see names and emails of other members. If turned on, all users with “Member” permissions can see the names and emails and profile pictures of other team users in Settings > Team > Members and in some other places. If turned off, only “Owners” and “Admins” can see these details of other members.
Users can share libraries and folders with the whole team or organization. If turned on, it’s possible to share a folder or library with the whole team. If turned off this option is not visible in the sharing dialog and it’s only possible to share with individual team members.
Users can share content with other users outside the team or organization. If turned off, all ways to share any content with anyone outside the team or organization are restricted. In other words, anything that can be shared (folders, libraries, sharing links) is only available for signed-in Paperpile users who are members of the team or organization.
